I'm writing this post a little late. Well about 9 months late. You see, I thought this hike was insignificant because it was a pretty short hike compared to the other legs of this journey. When in reality, it's still part of my journey and I should have documented it properly. However, since it was 9 months ago, I don't have the clearest recollection of it. Mostly all I remember is it being very warm and me being 20+ weeks pregnant, I was very slow and uncomfortable. Thank goodness I wasn't wearing my pack because that would have been far more uncomfortable than I was willing to take on. More to come on future posts.
